David Wood is a one of the UK’s most experienced investigators with an impressive track record extending over 40 years. He has had a distinguished career leading large operational police and government organisations. He has led or overseen GSA’s investigations in support of a wide range of corporate clients in the financial services, legal, and corporate sectors. He has helped organisations resolve major fraud cases and helped them navigate complex risks. David’s career includes 31 years with the British Police Service, culminating as Deputy Assistant Commissioner at Scotland Yard. He specialised in combating organised crime, anti-corruption and intelligence operations.

David then went into government as the Director of Policy for the criminal justice system and then Director General in the Home Office responsible to Ministers for a large part of the Immigration System. He has effectively translated his experience and insights to support clients in the private sector resolve complex security related issues and make their business resilient.

Bob Quick spent 32 years with the British Police Service specialising in counter terrorism, anti-corruption and tackling organised crime. Bob served as Chief Constable of Surrey Police and then Assistant Commissioner Specialist Operations at The Metropolitan Police, New Scotland Yard London where he was responsible for national counter terrorism and the protection of the Royal Family, the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers and visiting Heads of State. Since entering the private sector, he has led security related projects for a wide range of clients in the Government and private sector in the UK and beyond, including ‘safe city’ projects and major training programmes. He specialises in working with private and corporate clients to deliver highly tailored solutions to address their security requirements.

Dr. Brian Moore QPM

Brian Moore served in the police service as an investigator for 34 years, culminating in his appointment to the rank of Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police and subsequently service as Director General of the UK Border Force. He led for the police service on risk management and tackling violence. Brian then spent time in the construction products sector focused on standards, assessment, regulation and in the investigation of market abuse. He now specialises in travel risk management helping global organisations align with the ISO 31030 Travel Risk Management Standard. Brian has also considerable experience and expertise in identifying and managing insider risks. His longstanding interest in the role of whistleblowers in raising concerns in the public interest, led him to undertake his research into whistleblowing in both the UK and Europe, which resulted in the award of his doctorate by Middlesex University.

Bill Trent

Bill joined McKinsey in the 1980s, becoming partner and co-head of two global practices. He took on a variety of roles including CFO of a FTSE100 business and an investment bank, advising on restructuring cases and acting as an Expert Witness on advice to boards and risk management. He began working in cyber security in 2013 and has been a managing director in a leading US adviser on cyber incidents, a leading UK security consultancy and, most recently, Accenture.

He has advised global leaders in FS, technology, aerospace & defence, operators of critical national infrastructure and government agencies on cyber-security, resilience and the handling of major incidents.

Andrew Prosser

Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in the early 90’s Andrew has worked for a variety of businesses including large multi-national PLCs (Diageo & Dalgety) & private equity owned businesses (Alliance Boots & Care UK). He has been a CFO for more than 20 years and has significant experience in leading post- acquisition integration projects and other large change programmes. He has an international background having lived & worked overseas, and he is fluent in both French & German.

Prior to joining GSA, Phillipa ran her own successful startup for 5 years, following an 18-year career at Credit Suisse as a managing director in the Equities Division in London. Howard Nichol

Howard Nichol served 30 years in the British military, concluding as the Army’s Head of Counterintelligence and Security. Specialising in Human Intelligence and Counterintelligence operations against a wide variety of threats including hostile state intelligence services, insider, terrorist and extremist groups, and organised crime, he served in the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans and Northern Ireland. Since leaving the military he has focused on the design and delivery of intelligence, security, and wider military capability development programmes on behalf of the UK and foreign governments, and global commercial clients. Howard is an expert in both insider and travel risk management and brings significant experience to the development of tailored programmes across a wide range of business sectors.

Simon spent 31 years as a police officer. In the final stages of his career, Simon worked as a senior close protection officer with the Metropolitan Police’s Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) command. Simon has protected high-profile figures, including world leaders and royalty, often as visiting dignitaries to the UK. Simon brings extensive experience in creating specialist protective security plans for major events, of which notably he held a central role delivering the protection plans for all Heads of State, Government and dignitaries attending the UK, following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. He has also travelled globally delivering VIP support and close protection solutions for UK interests abroad.
