GSA Global is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Tasker as its new Director of Protective Services. Simon brings over 31 years of deep experience in law enforcement, having held a number of key roles within the Metropolitan Police’s Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) command. For many years Simon has worked to safeguard world leaders, dignitaries, and members of the Royal Family, amassing wide-ranging expertise in protective services and VIP security on a global level.

In his most recent role, Simon led major security initiatives, including the comprehensive protection plan for international Heads of State, government officials, and dignitaries attending the United Kingdom following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. His extensive experience encompasses the development of specialist security plans for high-profile events and the delivery of close protection services for UK interests worldwide.

At GSA Global, Simon will oversee the Protective Services division, focusing on enhancing client safety and delivering world-class security solutions tailored to the needs of VIPs, their families, and visiting dignitaries. His exceptional track record and commitment to excellence align seamlessly with GSA Global’s mission to provide best-in-class protective services to clients across the globe.
